Open House and Campus Visit DayPrinter-friendly version

Jan 25, 2010

Last week we had both an open house and a campus visit day where we had visitors in to ask their questions, see the school, and debate about whether we are right for them or not. Both of these events went very well in my opinion.

We had a great turnout for the open house, and though I didn’t make it into the chapel for the presentation, there were a few people who spoke about their programs and what the school has to offer. There was also time for the visitors to ask questions and just hang out, eat a brownie, drink some coffee. Oh, and also a chance to get shown around the college as well.

The campus visit day also had a great turnout. There was about double the amount of people that we were expecting! I hung around the tour of the school and the library for the most part and tried to answer the questions that came my way. We hung out, ate some lunch, or well, I ate some of Laura’s lunch, and then the visitors went to check out a class with Dr. Jeal. It was a good visit in my opinion!

As we are always looking for your opinion about how to make things better and accommodate you as our visitors and future students, why don’t you give us a heads up about how you felt about these events? Like, dislike? Something we could change, something else you would like to see, anything.
