Booth College assists students in meeting their education costs through merit-based entrance and need-based financial awards.  We also assist with government student loan planning and, on a very strict case basis, provide payment plans.

Entrance merit-based Awards

Booth College is committed to recognizing the significant achievements of its strongest applicants by awarding merit-based scholarships.

An entering average of 85 percent (3.8-4.0 AGPA)
+ will be granted:
$1,400 $1,800
An entering average of 80-84 percent (3.5-3.79 AGPA)
will be granted:
$1,110 $1,400
An entering average of 75-79 percent (3.0-3.49 AGPA)
will be granted:
$800 $1,100

These awards are renewable for one year by maintaining your grades. Students must enroll full time in order to be awarded (12 credit hours minimum and 15 credit hours maximum).


Salvation Army Students - Residence Bonus

Starting next Fall, Salvationist students who enroll at Booth College will receive a $1,000 BURSARY ($500 per semester) toward the cost of their Room and Board.  Students must be an adherent or a soldier and obtain a recommendation from their Corps Officer.  This bursary is OVER AND ABOVE our entrance awards.


Needs-based Awards

We are committed to enhance accessibility to a Booth College education for deserving students who lack adequate financial resources.  Needs-based awards are available to both future and current students.

Letters of application (including approximated budget) must be submitted by 31 July for the Fall semester awarding, 15 November for the Winter semester awarding and 31 March for the Spring semester awarding. 

These awards are non-renewable from semester to semester however, students may apply each semester.  Download form HERE.  Students must enroll full time in order to qualify (12 credit hours minimum).


Student Loans

Booth College is an approved institution for financial aid by Canada (all provinces) and the US (FAFSA).

Many organizations offer general information about financial aid and often include tools and tips for following the financial aid process. While cost should not be the only determining factor when choosing a college, it is a concern for many students and their families.
